We have an "open door" policy which means that parents are always welcome to observe their children in class. Admission process

The application process:
Please, fill out the enrollment application. The application package is available at the Front Office or below on our Admissions page of the Web site. Along with the application, submit a copy of the birth certificate, immunization records, and any recent standardized tests. If it is mid-year, a copy of the withdrawal form from the previous school is necessary.

Kindergarteners will be administered a one-on-one test prior to entering school. Enrollment determination is not based on these test results. By testing your child, AMS will better know how to serve his/her academic and social needs. For other grade levels, students are given a placement exam prior to starting school. The exam results are used to help us determine an initial class placement. After a couple of weeks, when we are more familiar with the student, a more accurate placement can be made.

A book deposit of $100 is required on the first day of school. For the second, third etc. enrolled child from the same family the book deposit is $50. This deposit is refundable if all materials are returned to AMS.

Waiting list:
In an effort to provide the best academic environment to our students, we limit the class sizes. This means that if space is unavailabe, we place prospective students on a waiting list. Children who are already enrolled at AMS the previous year have a guaranteed place for the next school year. Their siblings and transfer AMS students have priority on the waiting list. Other families are enrolled on a first come, first serve basis. We adhere to the policies stated above and do not discriminate.
